The 160 meters long and 70 meters high suspended Canopy Walk is located in Nyungwe National Park in Rwanda.
The canopied route, which gives an exciting view of the extremely ancient treetops and fauna, hangs above a little valley in the dense montane rainforest of Nyungwe National Park. It has fresh air and is around 70m high and 160m long.

About 500 chimpanzees live in Nyungwe Forest National Park, and two squads have been trained for chimpanzee trekking. One troop of habituated chimpanzees lives in the main Nyungwe forest, and the other resides in a tiny area of the forest in the park’s eastern region called Cyamudongo.
Primarily, three welcome centers; Kitabi, Uwinka, and Gisakura are where chimpanzee trekking begins. The park centres anticipate all visitors who plan to undertake chimpanzee trekking to arrive extremely early in the morning. You will be picked up at the hotel by your driver-guide and transported to the start of the walk, where you will meet the guides and receive a briefing.
Located in a vast area of steep slopes in the Great Rift Valley, Nyungwe National Park is unquestionably one of Africa’s oldest and largest tropical and montane rain forests.
